Product Overview

Capattery introduces a groundbreaking, IP-driven solar coating technology designed to revolutionize the solar industry. Our advanced coating for solar glass delivers up to a 17% performance boost, as proven in real-world pilot projects, while significantly reducing maintenance costs. Suitable for any type and age of solar panels, it empowers businesses to maximize their solar investments and set new standards in efficiency and sustainability.

Key Benefits

  • Enhanced Efficiency: Boosts solar panel efficiency by improving light absorption and electrical conductivity, maximizing energy output.
  • Superior Durability: Graphene’s exceptional strength and flexibility protect solar panels from environmental wear, including UV radiation, extreme temperatures, and mechanical stress.
  • Self-Cleaning: The hydrophobic nature of graphene prevents dust, dirt, and water accumulation, maintaining optimal performance with minimal maintenance.
  • Improved Thermal Conductivity: Reduces heat build-up in solar panels, preventing overheating and ensuring consistent performance even in hot climates.
  • Sustainability: Enhances solar panel longevity, reducing electronic waste and contributing to sustainable energy solutions.
  • Cost Efficiency: Reduced maintenance needs translate to lower operational costs and a higher return on investment.

Sustainability Impact

  • Reduction of CO2 due to higher power output from existing panels
  • Reduction in water due to self cleaning capability
  • Lower land requirements due to increased power generation per acres of land

How It Works

  • Anti-Reflective: Traditional glass surfaces reflect some of the incoming sunlight, which is lost to the environment. Graphene coating minimizes reflection, allowing more sunlight to penetrate and generate power.
  • Self-Cleaning & Anti-Corrosion: Graphene’s hydrophobic properties repel water, reduce dust and particle buildup, and minimize the need for cleaning, preventing corrosive damage.
  • Light Trapping: Graphene’s nanostructured surface scatters light, trapping it in the solar cell and increasing absorption from multiple angles.
  • UV & Thermal Protection: The graphene coating provides a degree of UV protection, filtering out harmful UV rays that can degrade the panel materials and reduce efficiency over time. And Graphene strengthens the glass surface, providing an additional layer of protection against impact or environmental wear.

Key Ingredients

  • Graphene powder
  • Binders & Polymers
  • Hydrophobic Agents
  • Photocatalytic Agents
  • Solvents & Functional Additives

Application Process

  1. Inspection: Assess the panels’ condition, ensuring they are free from debris, damage, or corrosion.
  2. Cleaning: Thoroughly clean the panels using a mild detergent and water to remove dirt, grime, or other substances.
  3. Surface Preparation: Prepare the surface for coating application.
  4. Coating Application: Apply the coating using a microfibre cloth.
  5. Curing: Allow the coating to cure, following the 36 to 72 hour time. (In a dust free room)
  6. Inspection and Testing: Verify the coating’s integrity and performance, ensuring it meets specifications.
  7. Maintenance: Schedule regular maintenance to ensure the coating’s longevity and performance..
